    Peruvian ordinary passports gained a covered EU short-stay waiver

    Peruvian citizens holding valid ordinary passports may enter the covered EU Member States without a visa for short stays.

    • The agreement was provisionally applied from 15 March 2016 and entered into force on 1 November 2016.
    • Paid activity is excluded; applicable EU, Member State, and Peruvian rules continue to govern it.
    • The maximum stay is 90 days in any moving 180-day period.
    • Ireland is excluded, and France and the Netherlands are covered only in their European territories.
