Nicaragua: named Category A ordinary passports visa-free
The current official CA-4 AIP schedule explicitly marks these ordinary passports Category A (exempt from visa). It is a visa-free baseline, not an ETA, eVisa or visa on arrival.
- The AIP says Category A nationals need a valid passport and admission by the migration officer at the arrival port; individual admission remains controlled.
- The Tourist Card is a separate paid personal tourist document. It is not an ETA, eVisa or visa on arrival and does not change the Category A visa classification.
- No duration, extension, onward-travel, funds, accommodation, health, fee-exemption or special-document rule is inferred beyond the cited sources.
- Residence, work, study, transit, crew, diplomatic, official, service, refugee, stateless, territorial and third-country-document routes are excluded.
