Singaporean ordinary passports: Turkmenistan advance visitor visa

Singapore’s current Foreign Ministry guidance directly requires Singaporeans to obtain a Turkmen visa before travel and separately requires ordinary Singapore passport holders to obtain a local-entity invitation before travelling.

    • Applies to a Singaporean travelling on an ordinary passport for a short visit.
    • Obtain the visa and a letter of invitation from a qualifying local entity before travel; the guidance identifies the Turkmen Embassy in Seoul as the relevant contact.
    • Purpose-specific invitation requirements, work, residence, special documents, registration, restricted areas and final admission remain outside scope.
