South Sudan ordinary passports: Bosnia and Herzegovina advance short-stay visa
Bosnia and Herzegovina's Foreigners Law requires a visa unless the passport state is in the closed exemption cohort, and the current decision does not exempt South Sudan; the normal Visa C is obtained before entry through a diplomatic-consular post.
- Applies to an ordinary South Sudan passport holder travelling for tourism or another private short-stay purpose, normally up to 90 days in any 180-day period.
- The traveller normally obtains Visa C before entry from a Bosnia and Herzegovina diplomatic-consular post or an authorized treaty partner.
- The exceptional border Visa C requires an unforeseeable urgent reason and proof that advance application was impossible; it is not a nationality-wide visa-on-arrival route.
- Qualifying residence documents, third-country-document exceptions, diplomatic or service passports, treaty exceptions, work, residence, carrier checks and final admission remain separate.
