Mongolia: named ordinary passports eligible for eVisa
The Immigration Agency’s current exhaustive eVisa-country list names these countries; after removing easier visa-free and Indian border-visa routes, their baseline visitor route is eVisa.
- Apply electronically before travel through Mongolia’s official eVisa service; this is a visa, not an ETA or a visa on arrival.
- The portal requires a passport/relevant substitute valid at least 180 days before intended travel; the eVisa is non-extendable and non-convertible.
- Carry the eVisa copy and the passport used in the application. Border biometrics are mandatory; admission remains discretionary. The inviting person, accommodation provider or host entity must register the foreign national online within 48 hours after arrival.
- This finding is limited to the named country list and ordinary visitor entry. It does not establish work, residence, study, transit, crew, diplomatic, official, service, refugee, alien-document, group-tour, invitation or port-specific rights.
- The current eVisa portal contains a legacy non-navigable country-list section; this classification relies on the Immigration Agency’s current expressly titled eVisa eligibility list.
