Group II ordinary passports: tourist/visit visa or qualifying entry authorization
The current Ministry country API assigns these 100 unambiguously mapped catalog nationalities to Group II. Current law requires a tourism/visit visa or a DIGEMIG tourist/visit entry authorization. Neither route is an electronically issued visa or an unconditional passport-wide visa on arrival.
- Current law requires a Group II tourism/visit visa or a DIGEMIG tourist/visit entry authorization. The official portal is an application system, while the Ministry describes the visa itself as issued by consulates and embassies; neither source establishes electronic visa issuance.
- DIGEMIG may issue the alternate authorization at a land or airport border, or exceptionally at an office, when the traveller could not access a Bolivian mission. It requires the same evidence and procedures as a visa and is not an unconditional nationality-wide visa-on-arrival route.
- Applicants must meet the Ministry’s stated requirements, including ordinarily a valid passport, application declaration, itinerary/return travel, invitation or accommodation, means, photograph and yellow-fever evidence where applicable. Admission remains subject to control.
- No residence, work, study, transit, diplomatic, official, service, emergency, refugee, stateless, special-document or third-country-document route is normalized.
