    Cuba's official Tourism Ministry portal identifies an internet tourist-visa process that replaces the Tourist Card and is available worldwide, including Switzerland.

    • The portal describes an internet tourist visa replacing the Tourist Card and states worldwide availability except for a United States-specific purchase arrangement.
    • Tourist visas are single-entry and normally allow up to 90 days, extendable for a further 90 days. Cuban citizens/residents, work, residence, transit, health declarations, route-specific carrier requirements and final admission are outside this classification.

    For the named active nationalities that the current Cuban Foreign Ministry eVisa schedule neither marks visa-exempt nor risk-routed, the ordinary tourist request remains available through eVisa-Cuba and the issued visa code is sent by email before travel.

    • Each named nationality is an active record in the live Cuban Foreign Ministry eVisa schedule with librev false and riesgo false. This is a direct schedule-based assignment, not an inference from portal branding, a nationality field or an unlisted country.
    • Cuba Travel states that a tourist visa is mandatory for a traveller without Cuban residence, gives the internet route, and says the tourist receives a visa code and payment proof by email. The live service describes the electronic visa as linked to the valid passport.
    • The route is limited to an ordinary short tourist visit. Cuban citizenship, residence, work, study, transit, family, crew, special-document and final-admission conditions remain outside this classification.
    • Applications made from the United States have the distinct purchase arrangement stated by Cuba Travel; that place-of-application condition does not change the passport-nationality route.

  1. Apply for the tourist visa online before departure using the Swiss ordinary passport to be used for travel.
  2. Follow the official service's instructions for the visa code and any required travel declaration.
  3. Meet all passport, insurance, return-ticket and final-admission conditions.
