Swiss ordinary passports: Iraq arrival visitor visa

Iraq's Foreign Ministry expressly includes Swiss passports among nationalities granted a visa on arrival at land, air and sea border crossings.

    • Use a valid ordinary Swiss passport. The stated border-issued visa is valid for 60 days and requires payment of the stated fee; health and safety entry conditions apply.
    • Iraq advises the named nationals to apply for an eVisa before travel from 1 March 2025, but that advice does not displace the explicitly stated available arrival-issuance route. Iraqi-origin travellers, residence, work, special passports, carrier checks and final admission remain separate.
