Named ordinary passports: Egypt prior-visa baseline
The Ministry of Interior's current prior-visa schedule directly names this cohort. The six named passports that the eVisa schedule also covers are excluded because the separately documented arrival route is easier; this policy does not infer a residual default beyond the Ministry's list.
- This is the ordinary-passport visitor baseline from the Ministry's named prior-visa list. It does not make an online application channel an eVisa or a tourist-arrival arrangement.
- The Ministry schedule records limited exceptions based on age, sex, Egyptian family links, international-organization employment, student status, GCC marriage, Jordanian residence, an accredited tourism-company guarantee, route, occupation, ancestry or sufficient funds. Those are not nationality-wide and do not alter this baseline.
- Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, India, Iraq, Kosovo and Vietnam appear both in the prior-visa schedule and the current eVisa schedule; they are excluded here and classified under the easier documented port-arrival route. Cambodia and Thailand remain in this policy because the current eVisa schedule does not list them.
- Diplomatic, official, service, crew, residence, work, transit, Sinai-only, refugee, stateless and other special-document treatment remains outside scope.
