British Virgin Islands: full British citizen passport short visitor entry

Current UK Foreign Office travel advice says a visitor on a full British citizen passport can visit BVI without a visa for up to one month.

    • This mapping is limited to the ordinary full British citizen passport represented by GB in this catalog and to the one-month visitor scope stated by the UK Foreign Office.
    • It must not be generalized to British Overseas Territories citizenship, BVI belonger status, other British nationality classes, residence, work, transit, or special documents.
    • The online embarkation card mentioned by the advice is an arrival form; this source does not call it an ETA or visa.
  2. Current official routeVisa-free

Full British citizen passport: British Virgin Islands visa-free short visit

FCDO says a full British citizen passport holder from the UK may visit BVI visa-free for up to one month.

    • This is confined to the catalog's GB full British citizen passport from the UK; it is not a rule for every British nationality, Crown Dependency passport or BVI belonger status.
    • The one-month arrival entry stamp is not a visa on arrival. Extensions, work, residence, online embarkation card, document and final-admission conditions remain separate.
