    United States ordinary passports: explicitly pre-travel electronic visas

    Current State Department guidance explicitly requires electronic visa approval before arrival for the listed destinations.

    • IQ: obtain an e-Visa through the Iraq e-Visa Portal before arrival; distinct KRG entry alternatives do not widen this nationwide classification.
    • GQ: complete the e-visa application, receive approval before arrival, and carry the printed approval.
    • Visitor purpose, passport validity, entry-point, special-document and final-admission conditions remain applicable.
