PAF normal visitor cohort: online approval followed by arrival issuance
For this explicit current selector cohort, the PAF service requires online approval and an Entry Visa Letter before travel, then directs the traveller to the visa-on-arrival counter for issuance and biometrics. It is normalized as eta because the prerequisite is an electronic pre-travel authorization and the final visa is issued at arrival.
- The selector's normal visitor panel labels the tourist route as not exceeding 90 days. The PAF procedure requires the approved Entry Visa Letter before travel and says the final visa is obtained at the visa-on-arrival counter after photo and fingerprints.
- The same published procedure lists a passport valid more than six months, Entry Visa Letter, sufficient funds, return ticket and accommodation; the service separately references a Yellow Fever certificate. Individual security, admissibility and border examination remain applicable.
- This is not treated as a walk-up visa_on_arrival because prior online approval is expressly required, and not as evisa because the PAF procedure says the visa is issued at the arrival counter. It excludes work, residence, business-only, transit, crew, diplomatic, official, service and special-document routes.
