    EU and Schengen Annex II ordinary passports are visa-exempt

    The current EU regulation exempts these ordinary-passport nationalities from short-stay visas at covered external borders.

    • The exemption applies for stays of no more than 90 days in any 180-day period.
    • Entries with biometric, document, or agreement conditions are modelled separately.
    • The destinations are the 29 Schengen countries plus Cyprus; Ireland operates its own visa policy.
