How this access rule is documented

  1. Current official routeVisa required

Mauritius: listed national passports requiring a visa before travel

The current PIO table requires a visa before travel for these nationalities, and PIO separately gives the same rule for Guyana.

    • Ordinary/nationality result only. Apply through a Mauritian diplomatic or consular representative, Air Mauritius where applicable, or PIO's stated fallback channel; wait for the decision before travel.
    • PIO's current published routes are consular/representative, Air Mauritius office, or the stated email fallback. No nationality-wide electronic-visa route is established by the reviewed sources.
    • A visa permits travel to a port of entry but does not guarantee admission; all passport/document, purpose, return-ticket, re-entry, funds, accommodation, and immigration-examination requirements still apply.
    • Does not override diplomatic, official, service, special, laissez-passer, refugee, stateless, residence, work, crew, transit, medical, social/religious, marriage, study, or case-specific exceptions.
