Named visa-exempt third-country ordinary passports: visa-free short visitor entry
These ordinary-passport jurisdictions are named in Gibraltar's 15 July 2026 visa-exempt appendix and have a visa-free short-visitor route, subject to the simultaneous Schengen entry conditions at Gibraltar's external border.
- The short stay is no more than 90 days in any 180 days, calculated with time in Gibraltar and the Schengen Area. A valid travel document, purpose/conditions of stay, means and other admission checks remain required.
- Biometric passports are required for AL, BA, GE, MD, ME, MK, RS, UA and XK. Taiwan requires a passport with an identity-card number; HK and MO require their named SAR passports. Serbian Coordination Directorate passports remain subject to the current Regulation's biometric condition.
- A Gibraltar or Schengen residence document, a UK visa or UK immigration status, minor/parental arrangements, crew/seafarer identity documents, refugee/stateless documents, diplomatic/official/service passports and paid activity are separate document- or purpose-conditioned routes, not this ordinary-passport nationality rule.
- ETIAS is not operating on the research date. No separate nationality-wide Gibraltar eVisa, ETA or visa-on-arrival route is established.
