Remaining ordinary passports: Republic of the Congo advance visitor visa
API-Congo's live public-agency guidance makes its nationality exception exhaustive and says every other foreign traveller to Congo-Brazzaville must hold a visa obtained through a Congolese embassy.
- Applies to the exact 161 currently uncovered ordinary-passport nationalities that are outside API-Congo's exhaustive named exception list.
- Apply through a Republic of the Congo embassy before travel. The guidance states that normal issuance does not exceed 15 days and describes a higher-cost same-day Express option; neither is a guarantee of approval.
- Law No. 29-2017 requires an ordinary visitor outside a particular immigration agreement to present a valid passport with visa, return or onward transport, repatriation-deposit receipt, municipal accommodation certificate or hotel booking, and a valid international vaccination booklet.
- No reviewed current official source establishes a nationality-wide eVisa or border-issued visa alternative for this cohort. Work, residence, special documents, carrier requirements and final admission remain outside scope.
