Nine named foreign citizenships: visa-waiver rules
The current Iranian MFA eVisa portal identifies nine foreign citizenships as subject to Iran’s visa-waiver rules.
- The portal describes these nationalities as subject to visa-waiver rules under internal laws, approvals, and bilateral agreements, but does not publish ordinary-passport stay length, purpose, entry point, passport-type, or recurrence terms.
- This is a nationality-wide waiver classification only; it does not establish work, residence, diplomatic, official, service, refugee, emergency-document, transit, border-crossing, security, or individual-admission treatment.
