Australian ordinary passports: South Sudan eVisa

Current Australian Government guidance directs Australian travellers to South Sudan's eVisa department for a visa issued before travel, while the official issuer delivers an approved downloadable PDF.

    • Applies to an Australian visitor using an ordinary passport and travelling despite the Australian Government's do-not-travel advice.
    • Apply before travel through the South Sudan Department of E-Visa and Immigration Services. The issuer says an approved eVisa PDF can be downloaded within 72 hours; processing and approval are not guaranteed.
    • Carry the approved PDF for verification and passport stamping at the port of entry. Passport validity, yellow-fever certification, security restrictions, carrier requirements and final admission remain separate.
