    Belgian ordinary passports: named advance visitor-visa routes

    Current Belgian guidance establishes advance embassy issuance for these ordinary Belgian-passport visitor routes.

    • LY: an invitation is required and the application is made at the Libyan Embassy in Brussels; the visa must identify the land border used where applicable. SY: apply in principle at the Syrian Embassy in the country of residence; individual travellers without a visa are generally turned back. CG: apply before departure at the Congo Embassy in Brussels.
    • Purpose, invitation, route, document, carrier and final-admission conditions remain applicable.
