Vanuatu: listed exempt ordinary passports with tourist visa on arrival
Although the country list calls these nationalities exempt from a visitor visa, DIPS expressly issues the tourist visa to them upon arrival.
- This is an arrival-issued tourist visa, not true no-visa admission: DIPS says exempt-country travellers can obtain the tourist visa upon arrival.
- Tourism, leisure and social visits only; the stated stay is up to 120 days, with no extension or status change, and no commercial, employment or business activity.
- The traveller must meet DIPS grant criteria including character, health, security, funds, genuine departure intent, onward/return transport and parental/guardian consent where applicable.
- Non-citizens need a valid passport or travel document with more than six months validity, a return airline ticket, and confirmed accommodation or a local address.
- Does not decide visitor visa (30-day), transit (airside up to 24 hours), residence, work, study, close-family, descent, diplomatic, official, special-document, or case-specific rules.
