    Current EAC immigration guidance establishes visa-free entry for citizens of one Partner State into another; Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Tanzania are current Partner States.

    • Applies to an ordinary Burundian passport holder travelling for a short visitor stay under the EAC Partner-State visa-free entry rule.
    • Work, residence, study, special passes, diplomatic or official documents, border operations, carrier requirements and final admission remain outside this classification.
