    Rwandan ordinary passports: named visa-free short visits

    Rwanda DGIE's live ordinary-passport column records Visa not required for the Democratic Republic of the Congo and São Tomé and Príncipe.

    • This is limited to the two retained named rows in DGIE's ordinary-passport column; it is not inferred from regional membership, a portal, or an omitted nationality.
    • The live list has no publication or revision date. It supports the matching fallback rows but should be rechecked if Rwanda DGIE publishes a dated replacement or a destination authority publishes a contrary current rule.
    • Stay period, purpose limits, special passports, carrier requirements and final admission remain separate.

    Burundian ordinary passports: EAC visa-free short visits

    Current EAC immigration guidance establishes visa-free entry for citizens of one Partner State into another; Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Tanzania are current Partner States.

    • Applies to an ordinary Burundian passport holder travelling for a short visitor stay under the EAC Partner-State visa-free entry rule.
    • Work, residence, study, special passes, diplomatic or official documents, border operations, carrier requirements and final admission remain outside this classification.

    The migration authority states that foreign visitors may request an eVisa online for tourism, family visits, or business travel.

    • The eVisa must be obtained before travel.
