Chad eVisa: confirmed Canadian and Republic of Korea ordinary passports

Current Canadian and Republic of Korea government travel authorities establish that ordinary short visitors need a Chad visa. Chad’s current official notices require new visa applications exclusively through evisa.td before travel.

    • Applies only to ordinary Canadian and Republic of Korea passports for short visitor travel.
    • Chad’s official portal requires non-exempt foreigners to apply online; its 11 May 2026 notice makes evisa.td the exclusive channel for new visas, with outside-platform visas invalid after 21 May 2026.
    • The 4 June 2026 circular states 10 working days for standard processing and 72 hours for express processing. Approval, documentary, health, security and final border-admission checks remain applicable.
    • Does not cover diplomatic, official, service, residence, work, transit, crew, refugee, special-document, dual-nationality or other conditional routes.
