How this access rule is documented

  1. Current official routeVisa on arrival

Canadian ordinary passports: Sierra Leone arrival visitor visa

Canada's current guidance expressly offers a Canadian tourist or business visitor a Sierra Leone visa on arrival as an alternative to applying for an eVisa before arrival.

    • For ordinary tourism or business, the source expressly permits either an eVisa before arrival or a visa on arrival; this policy records the available border-issued route.
    • Other purposes and multi-entry travel require a visa before arrival. The airport security fee and online health declaration are separate from visa issuance; residence, work, study, special documents and final admission remain separate.
