China to Cambodia

Visa-freeNo visa required before travel

This page separates the current comparison status from the official evidence collected for it. Rules shown here concern ordinary short visits unless a source states otherwise.

Allowed stay under the reviewed ruleUp to 14 days per entry during the trialMultiple entries are permitted during the trial; the fourteen-day allowance is per entry, not an aggregate four-month allowance. The sources do not settle how a stay following an entry near 15 October interacts with the programme endpoint. This record does not promise a stay beyond that endpoint or treat 16 October as an automatic departure deadline for an already admitted traveller.Subject to the official conditions below; not a guarantee of admission or an extension.

How this access rule is documented

  1. – Visa-free

Cambodia's temporary Chinese tourist visa exemption

Ordinary mainland Chinese, Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR passport holders may visit Cambodia visa-free for up to 14 days per entry during the trial from 15 June through 15 October 2026. Multiple entries are permitted and the e-Arrival Card remains required. No post-trial access status is established by this review.

    • This record covers ordinary tourist visits under the temporary programme, not employment, residence or other travel documents. The destination-government announcement expressly includes mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao and excludes Taiwan.
    • Eligible passport holders may travel directly from China or from another country. The announced exemption does not require a visa application or visa fee, and multiple entries are permitted during the trial.
    • Travellers must complete Cambodia's e-Arrival Card. This arrival declaration does not turn the expressly visa-free programme into an ETA. No universal advance-only submission deadline is asserted here.
    • The supported trial ends on 15 October 2026. An August government report describes a private-sector request for a year-end extension, not an adopted extension. These sources do not establish the status for a new entry from 16 October 2026; continued visa-free access or a specific replacement visa route must not be inferred.
