Sierra Leone: current ECOWAS ordinary passports — visa-free entry
The ECOWAS Free Movement Protocol establishes visa-free entry for a Community citizen visiting another Member State for up to 90 days. The current ECOWAS roster maps its eleven foreign Member States; the eVisa terms also exclude all ECOWAS members from the electronic service.
- Article 3 requires a valid travel document and international health certificate and gives a maximum 90-day stay. Immigration retains admissibility and public-order controls under the Protocol.
- The current twelve-State roster excludes Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger following their withdrawal; the separately documented transitional treatment applies to all three below.
- This policy does not decide residence, work, transit, crew, diplomatic, official, service, special documents, individual admissibility or any bilateral arrangement.
