Other ordinary foreign passports: embassy visa or prior General Security approval
For countries not otherwise mentioned in its visa rules, General Security expressly requires an embassy visa or prior General Security authorisation; country-specific labour and other rules likewise require prior authorisation.
- This explicit default excludes Lebanese citizenship, the Israel taxonomy-gap case, the GCC/Jordan border-visa cohort, the separately named automatic-tourism cohort, the Article Eight border-visa cohort, and the Egypt/Ghana/Iraq nationality-only ambiguities.
- General Security labour-supplying-country rules require prior authorisation for named nationalities. Separate rules may offer conditional tourist, trader, doctor, engineer, business, GCC-resident, group, medical, conference, transit, diplomatic, official, service, work, student, or family routes; these do not alter the ordinary passport-only default.
- Embassy applications require a passport valid at least six months, application, accommodation or invitation, return reservation, financial capability, profession evidence, and possibly residence evidence. General Security can request additional documents and the published procedure advises applying at least one month ahead.
- Do not infer an eVisa from administrative processing. The source does not establish a generic self-service electronic visa.
