Named European ordinary passports: temporary visa-free entry through 31 December 2026
The State Border Committee's current temporary programme waives visas for these named ordinary passports; this policy excludes North Macedonia because its bilateral MFA waiver already establishes its baseline.
- Lithuanian and Latvian ordinary passport holders have the programme from 15 April 2022 and Poland from 1 July 2022: up to 90 days per visit and 90 days in a calendar year.
- The remaining named passports have the programme from 19 July 2024: up to 30 days per entry and 90 days in a calendar year.
- Entry and exit may use any Belarus international border checkpoint. Work, study or residence requires the appropriate Belarusian visa; transit to a third country is permitted except via Russia.
- A valid document, medical insurance, stay funds, migration-card and final border-admission requirements continue to apply; diplomatic, service and special passports are outside this ordinary-passport policy.
