    Andorran ordinary passport: citizenship

    An Andorran national travelling on an Andorran ordinary passport is classified as citizenship, not as a foreign visitor-visa relationship.

    • This is a citizenship classification, not a foreign visitor-visa relationship. The official passport guidance identifies the passport as proof of identity and nationality, and the Government publishes the nationality-by-origin rules.
    • It does not define travel by a dual national presenting another passport, residence, work, transit, diplomatic, official, service or other special-document treatment.

    EU ordinary passports: visa-free route to Andorra through Spain or France

    Andorra issues no visitor visa. Union citizens do not need an entry visa for the Spanish or French access leg, so these ordinary passports have a visa-free visitor route to Andorra.

    • Andorra has no airport and is outside Schengen; access is through France or Spain. This status means no visa is needed for the access leg, not that Andorra is a Schengen Member State.
    • Use a valid passport or national identity card as applicable. Normal document validity, admission and route checks remain.
    • No Andorran eVisa, ETA or visa-on-arrival is established.

    Visa-exempt Schengen-access ordinary passports: visa-free route to Andorra

    Andorra issues no visitor visa. These passports are visa-exempt for the needed Schengen access leg under Annex II or equivalent free-movement arrangements, and therefore have a visa-free route to Andorra.

    • Andorra is outside Schengen and has no airport; access is through France or Spain. Annex II exempts applicable third-country passports for stays of no more than 90 days in any 180-day period.
    • Biometric passport is required for AL, BA, GE, MD, ME, MK, RS, UA and XK. Taiwan requires the identity-card number in the passport; HK and MO require their named SAR passports.
    • CH, IS, LI and NO follow equivalent free-movement treatment for the access leg; this does not make Andorra part of Schengen.
    • For non-EU minors, the Andorran guidance expressly requires a two- or multiple-entry Schengen visa. This age-specific requirement is retained and does not convert the adult Annex II ordinary-passport baseline into a visa requirement.
    • ETIAS is not operating on the research date. Do not normalize its planned future operation as a current ETA requirement.
    • No Andorran eVisa, ETA or visa-on-arrival route is established. Passport validity, purpose, funds, return/onward travel and final admission remain applicable.

    Annex I ordinary passports: Schengen visa required to reach Andorra

    Andorra itself issues no visitor visa, but these passports require a Schengen visa to cross the French or Spanish external border needed to reach Andorra. The Andorran Government requires a double-entry or multiple-entry Schengen visa according to planned exits and returns.

    • This is a Schengen advance-visa requirement for the actual France/Spain access leg, not a separate Andorran visa: Andorra requires no type of visa.
    • Obtain a double-entry Schengen visa for one exit from Andorra and return to Schengen; obtain a multiple-entry Schengen visa for several exits and returns. A single-entry visa does not preserve the return leg.
    • Apply through the competent French or Spanish consular route. A short-stay visa normally concerns up to 90 days in any 180-day period; issuance and final entry are separate.
    • No Andorran eVisa, ETA or visa-on-arrival is established. Residence permits, long-stay visas, family-member rights, diplomatic/official/service documents, local-border permits and other exceptions are not flattened into this baseline.

    Nauru ordinary passport: Schengen visa required pending EU waiver agreement

    Although Nauru appears in Annex II, its footnote makes exemption conditional on entry into force of an EU waiver agreement. The current Council register says the regime applies only once Nauru and the EU have concluded that agreement; the ordinary-passport route to Andorra therefore remains Schengen visa required.

    • Andorra has no separate visitor visa; this is the Schengen visa required for travel through France or Spain to reach Andorra.
    • The Annex II Nauru footnote is conditional. Do not classify Nauru as visa-free until an official source confirms the EU–Nauru waiver agreement is concluded and in force.
    • If a visa is required, use double entry for one exit from Andorra and return to Schengen, or multiple entry for several exits and returns.
