Official evidence timeline

One group agreement or destination policy can support many passport relationships. Dates are recorded only when an official source establishes them.

  1. Current official routeVisa-free

    Kazakhstan: 14-day ordinary-passport visa exemption

The MFA’s current N (ordinary-passport) column expressly records these 14-day visa-free visitor entries.

    • The N-column stay limit is 14 days. This is a short-visitor visa exemption, not an eVisa, ETA, residence or work authorization.
    • A receiving individual, hotel representative or housing owner must notify migration service of arrival within three working days; notification is not entry authorization and does not extend stay.
    • The result excludes diplomatic, service/official, special-document, transit, crew, longer-stay, employment, security and individual-admissibility rules.
    4 passport nationalities covered

Hong Kong (SAR China), Macao (SAR China), India, Iran

  2. Current official routeVisa-free

Kazakhstan: Barbados ordinary-passport 28-day visa exemption

The MFA’s current N column expressly records Barbados ordinary-passport visa-free entry for up to 28 days.

    • The N-column stay limit is 28 days. It does not establish an eVisa, ETA, residence or work right.
    • A receiving individual, hotel representative or housing owner must notify migration service of arrival within three working days; notification is not entry authorization and does not extend stay.
    • Diplomatic, service/official, special-document, transit, crew, longer-stay, security and individual-admissibility rules remain outside this ordinary-passport visitor result.
    1 passport nationalities covered

    Barbados

  3. Current official routeVisa-free

    Kazakhstan: ordinary-passport 90-day visa exemptions

The MFA’s current N column expressly records these ordinary-passport visa-free entries for up to 90 days.

    • The N-column limit is 90 days; for AZ and AM it expressly says 90 days within 180 days. The live table gives no wider ordinary-passport visitor right here.
    • A receiving individual, hotel representative or housing owner must notify migration service of arrival within three working days; notification is not entry authorization and does not extend stay.
    • This excludes work, residence, study, transit, crew, diplomatic, service/official, special-document, security and individual-admissibility treatment.
    16 passport nationalities covered

Azerbaijan, Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Russian Federation, San Marino, St. Kitts and Nevis, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Ukraine

  4. Current official routeVisa-free

Kazakhstan: Dominican Republic ordinary-passport 60-day visa exemption

The MFA’s current N column expressly records Dominican Republic ordinary-passport visa-free entry for up to 60 days.

    • The N-column stay limit is 60 days.

    Dominican Republic

  5. Current official routeVisa-free

    Kazakhstan: ordinary-passport 30-day visa exemptions

The MFA’s current N column expressly records these ordinary-passport visa-free visitor entries for up to 30 days.

    • The N-column stay limit is 30 days. This is a visa exemption for ordinary passport visitors, not an ETA or a general residence/work permission.
    • A receiving individual, hotel representative or housing owner must notify migration service of arrival within three working days; notification is not entry authorization and does not extend stay.
    • It excludes diplomatic, service/official, special-document, transit, crew, extension, employment, security and individual-admissibility rules.

Australia, Austria, Argentina, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brazil, Vatican City, United Kingdom, Hungary, Vietnam, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Israel, Indonesia, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Cyprus, China, Colombia, South Korea, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Morocco, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Norway, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, United States, Thailand, Philippines, Finland, France, Croatia, Czechia, Chile, Switzerland, Ecuador, Estonia, Japan

  6. Current official routeeVisa

Kazakhstan: named ordinary passports eligible for tourist eVisa

The current MFA eVisa list positively names these nationalities; after applying the easier ordinary-passport visa-free and Mauritian arrival-visa routes, their baseline visitor route is tourist eVisa.

    • The current 2026 detailed list has 104 numbered entries. After catalog mapping and its PRC row’s CN/HK/MO/TW coverage, it covers 105 catalog codes; 15 have a better N visa-free or Mauritian arrival-visa route, leaving 90 in this policy. The generic eVisa page says 105 states but supplies no current nationality detail, so the detailed list controls scope.
    • Tourist B12 eVisa is single-entry, valid up to 90 days with stay up to 30 days, requires a Kazakhstan-side invitation approved through migration service, online VMP application, payment and a printed eVisa.
    • The MFA page limits eVisa entry/exit to the named international-airport checkpoints (its current text says Nur-Sultan and Almaty); the source’s city nomenclature is retained. It is non-extendable and does not establish work, residence, transit, crew, diplomatic/official or admission rights.
    • The 2024 government page describes a three-working-day host-arrival notification, while the eVisa page says eVisa holders are exempt from migration registration. Neither text makes notification an ETA or visa authorization; their administrative relationship is not normalized as an eVisa-holder entry condition.
    90 passport nationalities covered

Algeria, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Belize, Benin, Tanzania, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Bhutan, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Gabon, Guyana, Haiti, The Gambia, Guatemala, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Honduras, Grenada, Djibouti, Dominica, Egypt, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, Cameroon, Kenya, Kiribati, North Korea, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei), Comoro Islands, Congo (Rep.), Costa Rica, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, Laos, Lesotho, Liberia, Lebanon, Mauritania, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nauru, Nepal, Niger, South Africa, Central African Republic, Palau Islands, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Rwanda, Samoa, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, North Macedonia, Suriname, Sierra Leone, Togo, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Fiji, Chad, Montenegro, Sri Lanka, Uruguay, El Salvador, Eritrea, eSwatini, Ethiopia, Jamaica

  7. Current official routeVisa on arrival

Kazakhstan: Mauritius ordinary-passport visa on arrival

The MFA’s current N column expressly lists Mauritius as visa on arrival, which is the easiest supported ordinary-passport visitor route.

    • The current MFA ordinary-passport table says visa on arrival. The separate eVisa nationality list also names Mauritius, but it is not the easier baseline route.
    • The table does not state a visitor duration, port, fee, purpose or documentary criteria; none is inferred here.
    • A receiving individual, hotel representative or housing owner must notify migration service within three working days of arrival; notification is not entry authorization and does not extend stay.
    1 passport nationalities covered

    Mauritius

  8. Current official routeVisa required

Kazakhstan: named ordinary passports marked visa in current MFA schedule

The current MFA N column expressly marks these ordinary-passport nationalities as visa; they are not listed in the current electronic-visa list, so this candidate records an advance visa requirement rather than inferring an electronic route.

    • This is limited to the schedule’s N ordinary-passport entries marked visa; the source does not itself specify the visitor visa category, duration, fee, invitation, port or processing path.
    • It excludes diplomatic, service/official, special-document, residence, work, transit, crew, security and individual-admissibility exceptions.
    • A receiving individual, hotel representative or housing owner must notify migration service within three working days of arrival; notification is not a substitute for the required visa.
    18 passport nationalities covered

Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Congo (Dem. Rep.), Cape Verde Islands, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Iraq, Jordan, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Solomon Islands, Sudan, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria, Timor-Leste, Yemen

  9. Current official routeCitizenship

    Kazakhstan: citizen right of return

Kazakhstan’s Constitution directly guarantees citizens’ right to return freely to the Republic.

    • This normalizes the constitutional citizen right of return only; it is not a foreign-visitor visa exemption.
    • The source does not establish treatment for foreign, diplomatic, service/official or special travel documents.
    1 passport nationalities covered

    Kazakhstan

  10. Current official routeVisa-free

Swedish ordinary passports: named visa-free short visits

Current Sweden Abroad guidance establishes visa-free short visitor stays for Swedish citizens in Kazakhstan, Nicaragua and Ukraine.

    • KZ: up to 30 days. NI: shorter than 90 days. UA: up to 90 days in a 180-day period.
    • NI's electronic entry form is an entry form, not an ETA or visa. KZ border-zone permits, Ukraine's security situation, and all work, residence, special-passport, carrier and final-admission conditions remain separate.

  11. Current official routeVisa-free

Qatari ordinary passports: Kazakhstan short-visit visa exemption

Kazakhstan MFA's current passport-type table lists Qatari ordinary passports as visa-free for up to 30 days.

    • Ordinary Qatari passport holder, visa-free stay of up to 30 days under the current Kazakhstan MFA table.
    • Work, residence, longer stays, diplomatic, service/official and other special-document routes remain separate.
    1 passport nationalities covered

    Qatar

  12. Current official routeVisa required

Palestinian ordinary passports: 2026 advance-visa visitor cohort

The State of Palestine's current ordinary-passport schedule labels this exact destination cohort "Visa is required" and separately labels electronic and arrival-issued routes elsewhere in the same schedule. It is normalized as advance visa required.

    • This is the Ministry's ordinary-passport short-visitor baseline. The source separately labels eVisa and visa-on-arrival rows, so a bare "Visa is required" row is not recast as either route.
    • Georgia and Panama have separately stated waivers for holders of specified third-country visas. Those conditional document routes are excluded from this passport-only baseline.
    • Mission availability, passport recognition, individual admission, route, transit, work, residence, diplomatic, official, service and other special-document treatment are outside this policy.
