One group agreement or destination policy can support many passport relationships. Dates are recorded only when an official source establishes them.

African ordinary passports: Togo visa-free short visit

From 18 May 2026, Togo’s Government exempts nationals of every African State holding a valid national passport. The live official portal confirms this ordinary-passport visitor route for stays up to 30 days.

    • Applies only to the named African passport issuers and a valid ordinary national passport, for a stay of up to 30 days.
    • The official portal requires completion of the immigration slip no later than 24 hours before arrival. This is an immigration formality, not an ETA or a visa.
    • The same live eVisa-information page retains an earlier ECOWAS-centred exemption table and lists some now-exempt African states as visa-subject. The 18 May 2026 Government decision, homepage notice and live ordinary-passport checker control; the legacy table is recorded as a source conflict, not used to narrow the African exemption.
    • Border inspection, security, legal controls and individual admissibility remain; residence, work, transit, crew, diplomatic, official/service and special-document rules are outside this policy.

Togo-issued ordinary passport: no foreign-entry visa in the live assistant

The live ordinary-passport assistant returns no visa for a Togolese passport. This directly supports only the repository's citizenship classification; it does not assert constitutional return rights or treatment of other documents.

    • The assistant was queried as an ordinary Togolese passport with short visitor assumptions and returns no visa. Separate identity, nationality, border, security and admission rules remain applicable.
    • This does not infer treatment for national identity cards, consular cards, residence documents or diplomatic, official, service, refugee, emergency or other special travel documents.

Singapore and Malaysia ordinary passports: live assistant no-visa result

The live official ordinary-passport assistant returns no visa for Singapore and Malaysia under the short tourist test inputs. The 2026 African rule does not explain these two non-African outcomes, so they are separate and medium confidence.

    • The current checker returns no visa for ordinary Singapore and Malaysian passports with a short tourist stay. It does not publish an underlying bilateral instrument, duration or document/purpose crosswalk.
    • Separate immigration formalities, border inspection, security, admissibility, work, residence, transit, crew, diplomatic, official, service and special-document rules remain outside this policy.

Live checker non-African ordinary-passport tourist cohort: advance electronic visa

For this complete named cohort, the live ordinary-passport assistant returns that a visa is required. Togo Voyage identifies the product as an electronic visa, requires online application before travel, and says it avoids a border-visa queue; it is normalized as evisa.

    • The current assistant was queried for each listed ordinary passport with a short tourist stay and returned that a visa is required. The eVisa page's country table independently lists each as visa-subject, subject to stated bilateral or multilateral arrangements.
    • The current portal says applications must be made online at least five days before arrival; standard processing is five days. Its tourist table provides 1–15 day single or multiple entry, 16–30 day multiple entry, and 31–90 day multiple entry options.
    • Arrival and express visas are currently suspended. The portal labels the advance product eVisa, says it avoids a border-visa queue and sends confirmation by email; normal border, passport, funds, health, security and admission requirements remain.
    • The legacy table contains stale African visa-required rows, overridden by the separate current African policy. Work, residence, official/courtesy, diplomatic, service, transit, crew and special-document routes are excluded.
