    Explicitly named ordinary passports: electronic visitor visa required

    The current Foreign Ministry visa instructions directly identify these nationalities as requiring a visa, and state that all Trinidad and Tobago entry visas are electronic; they are normalized as eVisa.

    • China, Taiwan, Cuba, North Korea, and Vietnam are expressly named in the current instructions' visa-required applicant cohort; Venezuela is expressly stated to require a visa for entry. The regional references to Asian, African, Middle-East and Far-East countries are not used to infer any additional code.
    • The Immigration Division eVisa service is for eligible foreign nationals from visa-required countries. Applicants need a passport valid at least six months, email address, digital photograph, supporting PDFs, and a Visa or Mastercard; approval is sent by email.
    • The official portal currently lists a TTD 800 multiple-entry eVisa fee, while ttconnect describes a TTD 400 fee. This official fee discrepancy is unresolved and does not alter the eVisa classification.
    • Bona fide operating aircraft or seagoing-vessel crew do not require a visa regardless of nationality; that occupation-specific exception is not a nationality-wide ordinary visitor rule. Possession of an eVisa does not guarantee admission.
