Ordinary passports: sponsored electronic tourist visa
Oman's Royal Oman Police offers tourists of all nationalities a sponsored 30-day tourist visa. The authority classifies sponsored tourist visas within its eVisa system and sends approved visas electronically before travel.
A tourism company licensed in Oman must sponsor the application. This is not an unsponsored eVisa entitlement, visa exemption, visa on arrival, or ETA.
The tourist visa is valid for 30 days and may be extended for a similar period. The application must be approved before travel; an approved electronic visa is sent to the registered email address.
Use a valid ordinary passport and meet the sponsor, application, payment, supporting-document, carrier, border-control, and final-admission requirements. Work, residence, transit, diplomatic, official, emergency, refugee, stateless, and other special-document treatment remain outside this policy.
Afghanistan, DPRK, and Palestine remain outside this batch under the project's conservative direct-evidence rule. Taiwan remains outside because current Omani authority lists diverge on its visa-free treatment.
Only destination governments, official immigration services, official diplomatic missions, and primary legal instruments qualify as published evidence.
