Marshall Islands residual prior-visa requirement
The current Embassy page expressly requires citizens outside its exemption and arrival groups to obtain a visa before travel, while its linked Immigration schedule enumerates those groups.
- Applies to ordinary-passport short visitors whose exact country is outside the current official exemption and arrival schedules.
- The application must be lodged while the applicant is outside the Marshall Islands; admission and other entry requirements remain discretionary.
- Guatemala is excluded because the official schedule lists it in both the visa-exempt and visa-on-arrival sections.
- Hong Kong and Macao are excluded because the country-based residual rule does not directly resolve their separate SAR passport documents.
