EU, EEA, Swiss and French ordinary passports: visa-free short visits
France-Visas and the Interior Ministry directly exempt EU, EEA and Swiss citizens from overseas visas. FR is visa_free, not citizenship: GF, FW, YT and RE are territorial destination codes rather than France itself.
- Ordinary passport held as a citizen of the listed EU, EEA or Swiss state, for a visitor stay up to 90 days.
- This does not normalize residence, work, family-member residence cards, identity-document alternatives, transit, special passports or final admission.
- All four catalog destinations are outside Schengen; the classification follows free-movement rights rather than a Schengen visa.
