How this access rule is documented

  1. Visa-free

Covered EU ordinary passports gained Marshall Islands short-stay access

The reciprocal EU–Marshall Islands agreement is provisionally applied from 2016-06-28; no final entry-into-force notice was located in this review.

    • The waiver is limited to valid ordinary passports and short stays of no more than 90 days in any 180-day period.
    • Paid activity is excluded, and ordinary entry conditions and refusal powers continue to apply.
    • Ireland is outside the agreement.
  2. Current official routeVisa-free

Named ordinary passports: 90-day visa exemption or waiver

The Division's linked summary expressly labels this named ordinary-passport cohort visa exempt/waived for 90 days from arrival. Its grouping label is not used to infer membership; only the directly enumerated passport codes are modeled.

    • The summary requires six months-plus passport validity after departure, confirmed onward travel, and necessary onward-country documents; it forbids extension, change of status, and employment.
    • The source's historical 'EU Member Countries' heading also expressly enumerates the United Kingdom. The direct enumeration, not that inaccurate heading, supports GB.
    • Taiwan is expressly written as Republic of China-Taiwan, ROC. The separately listed Guatemala row is not modeled because the same summary also puts Guatemala in its VOA table.
