    Irish ordinary passports: Chad electronic visitor visa

    Ireland's current guidance makes Irish citizens visa-subject for Chad, and Chad's current immigration notices require new non-diplomatic visa applications exclusively through evisa.td before travel.

    • Applies to an ordinary Irish-passport short visitor who needs a Chad visa; diplomatic and courtesy visas are excluded from the electronic rule.
    • Submit the new visa request through evisa.td before travel. Standard eVisa processing is 10 working days and express processing is 72 hours.
    • Purpose, documentary, health, security, carrier, final-admission, work, residence, transit and special-document conditions remain separate.

  1. Submit the ordinary Irish-passport visitor application through evisa.td before travel.
  2. Complete electronic immigration checks and retain the approved visa with required admission documents.
  3. Travel only after issuance and comply with final border-admission requirements.
