    Irish citizens generally do not require leave, an ETA, or a visa to enter or remain in the United Kingdom.

    • The rule applies to Irish citizens rather than every traveller from Ireland or every Irish-issued document.
    • Deportation orders, exclusion decisions, and specified international travel bans are exceptions.
