Italian ordinary passports: Palestinian-territory access via Israeli ETA-IL
Italy's current Foreign Ministry guidance requires otherwise visa-exempt Italian short visitors to obtain ETA-IL for the Israeli-controlled access route to the Palestinian Territories.
- Applies to a current ordinary Italian passport for a short visitor stay of up to 90 days through an Israeli-controlled entry route.
- Obtain ETA-IL before boarding or reaching the border. It is an Israeli travel authorization and does not guarantee admission.
- This does not establish a Palestinian Authority visa, access to Gaza, checkpoint opening, permit eligibility, Palestinian-ID-holder treatment or final admission.
- Work, residence, long stays, diplomatic, service, special-document and dual-national treatment remain separate.
