How this access rule is documented

  1. Current official routeVisa-free

Macao SAR passports: named visa-free short visits

Macao DSI's current passport-specific records classify Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Virgin Islands, Mali and Kosovo Area as visa-free rather than arrival-visa access.

    • This applies only to the Macao SAR Passport, not to a PRC passport, Hong Kong document, Portuguese passport or another Chinese travel document.
    • Maximum stays stated by DSI are 90 days for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mali and Kosovo Area, and six months for the British Virgin Islands. The DSI's Kosovo Area label records the visa route but does not resolve recognition, routing or border-operation questions.
    • Purpose, passport validity, carrier requirements and final admission remain subject to the destination authorities.
  2. Current official routeVisa-free

Hong Kong and Macao travel documents: visa-free short visit

Kosovo expressly exempts valid travel documents issued by the Hong Kong and Macao administrations from the visa requirement.

    • This is limited to a valid travel document issued by the named administration; it does not make a recognition, citizenship, diplomatic, residence, work, or other-document inference.
    • The current Interior short-stay and final-admission conditions remain applicable.
