Named ordinary passports: Tanzania visa-free visitors
The 2016 Visa Regulations' Third Schedule directly names 44 of this cohort as not requiring a visa. Current eVisa group guidance directly supports the two additional EAC/SADC entries (CD and ZW); the separate detailed eVisa-list URL was unavailable on re-review, so no wider unlisted complement is inferred.
- This policy applies only to the directly supported ordinary-passport cohort. It does not establish a common stay limit, work entitlement, residence right, transit rule or special-document exemption.
- The current eVisa guide's broad EAC/SADC/Commonwealth wording conflicts with its own detailed VOA/referral categories and with portions of the 2016 schedules. The current detailed visa-free endpoint returned a runtime error on re-review. The 44 statutory Third-Schedule codes are retained; CD and ZW are the only additional catalog codes directly supported by the current EAC/SADC wording and not contradicted by a current named route. Burundi and South Sudan remain unresolved because they are omitted from the statutory schedule and all current detailed categories despite the EAC prose.
- All entry remains through designated points with a passport or other acceptable document, arrival declaration, and possible onward-travel, funds and current health/yellow-fever documentation. The Immigration Officer retains admission authority.
