Mongolian ordinary passports: bilateral visa waiver
The current MIREX ordinary-tourist selector says Mongolian ordinary passports do not require a visa and that the measure has been in force since 10 June 2026. The Dominican Constitutional Court reproduces the underlying bilateral agreement, which waives visas for valid ordinary passports for stays of up to 90 days.
- Applies to a valid ordinary Mongolian passport for entry, stay, departure or transit for no more than 90 days from entry under the bilateral agreement.
- A stay exceeding 90 days requires a visa in advance. Purpose-specific immigration, passport-validity, transport-carrier, security screening and final-admission requirements remain separate.
- DGII’s Tourist Card list continues to name Mongolia as visa-required. The targeted current MIREX ordinary-passport tourist result and the agreement’s reproduced ordinary-passport scope are preferred for this direct conflict; recheck operational guidance if either authority changes it.
- This policy does not establish residence, work, study, crew, diplomatic, official, service, special-document or individual-admissibility treatment.
