Vanuatu: listed non-exempt ordinary passports requiring tourist visa approval before travel

DIPS states that non-exempt-country nationals must apply in advance and obtain approval before travelling.

    • DIPS says these non-exempt nationalities must apply for and obtain tourist-visa approval before travel; the application is subject to the stated tourist grant criteria.
    • The eVisa-branded online application portal is an application route. The reviewed DIPS pages do not establish a nationality-wide electronic visa issued in lieu of the required pre-approval, so this is not classified as eVisa.
    • Tourist visas allow up to 120 days without extension or status change and prohibit commercial, employment and business activity.
    • Transit, visitor (30-day), residence, work, study, diplomatic, official, special-document, and individual admissibility rules remain separate.
