    Nauru ordinary passport: Schengen visa required pending EU waiver

    Nauru's Annex II exemption is conditional on entry into force of an EU waiver agreement. The current Council register says visa-free travel applies only once Nauru and the EU conclude that agreement, so the route through Italy remains visa required.

    • This is the Schengen visa needed for Italian entry before visiting San Marino; a local stay exceeding 30 days requires a stay permit or residence.
    • Do not classify Nauru as visa-free until an official source confirms the EU–Nauru waiver agreement is concluded and in force.
    • No San Marino eVisa, ETA or visa-on-arrival route is established.
