    Norwegian ordinary passports: Iran advance visitor visa

    Norway's current guidance requires Norwegian visitors to obtain an Iranian visa through an embassy or consulate; Iran's official portal confirms that electronic submission is only the first application step and describes a visa sticker.

    • Obtain the visitor visa before travel through the Iranian embassy or consulate process. The online form alone is not the issued visa.
    • The treatment of dual Iranian nationals, work, residence, special passports, carrier requirements and final admission remain separate.
