Romanian and Samoan ordinary passports: Tourist Card without consular visa
Dominican Republic Decree 690-07 expressly names Romania and Samoa for tourist entry with a Tourist Card. Current MIREX ordinary-passport results independently attribute both no-visa outcomes to that decree.
- Applies to a valid ordinary Romanian or Samoan passport for tourist travel only, under Decree 690-07's named Tourist Card route.
- The Tourist Card is a tax/formality, not an ETA, eVisa, visa on arrival or consular visa. DGII states that it permits a tourist stay of up to 30 days and is normally included in foreign-issued air tickets.
- Work, study, residence, business, transit, crew, diplomatic, official, service, border-card, special-document, security-screening and final-admission treatment are outside this short-visitor baseline.
