Mozambique: eTA required before travel
The live immigration portal requires these nationalities to obtain an electronic travel authorisation before qualifying short tourist or business travel.
- The eTA permits up to 30 days for tourist or business purposes and applies to all passport types in the published table; this policy models the ordinary-passport component.
- The applicant must apply online, pay the fee and carry the approved preliminary eTA PDF for boarding and arrival.
- An eVisa is needed instead if the permitted ETA duration or purpose does not cover the trip.
- Ordinary-passport short tourism or business visits only; work, residence, study, crew, transit, diplomatic, official, service, refugee, emergency and other special-document cases are outside this policy.
- Admission remains subject to passport validity, travel-purpose, supporting-document, health, security and border-control requirements; an approval or exemption does not guarantee entry.
