Russian ordinary passport: visa-free short visitor entry
The live Saudi Tourism Authority visa-regulations widget explicitly says Russian passport holders need no visa or prior application, confirming that the December 2025 agreement is operational.
- The widget says a valid Russian passport permits entry on arrival without a visa or prior application, with no visa, exemption or medical-insurance fee.
- The limit is up to 90 days in a calendar year, in one continuous stay or across visits, for tourism, leisure, business visits and Umrah.
- Work, study, residence, Hajj, transit, crew, special-document and case-specific entry treatment are outside this ordinary-passport short-visitor classification. Umrah permits may be required through Nusuk.
- The older eVisa terms still list Russia as eVisa-eligible; the current live country group and route content expressly identify visa exemption and are preferred. Admission remains subject to border and security requirements.
