French West Indies aggregate: other ordinary passports require an advance overseas-territory visa
For the remaining cleanly modelled ordinary-passport codes, neither current territorial Annex II gives an unconditional nationality waiver across Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy. An overseas-territory visa is required through the normal pre-travel route; a narrowly discretionary border visa does not create a nationality entitlement.
- The result is the ordinary visitor baseline across all four constituent territories, not a Schengen classification. The normal visa route is territory-specific and pre-travel; a narrowly exceptional, discretionary border visa does not alter this baseline. A Schengen short-stay visa alone does not authorize entry.
- Bahrain, Belarus, China, India, Indonesia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Thailand may have a separate waiver when the traveller holds the specified valid French-consular multiple-entry visa (six months to five years). That third-document condition does not change this ordinary-passport baseline.
- Valid French/Schengen residence or long-stay documents, cruise/transit treatment, diplomatic and service passports, and other individual exceptions remain conditional and are not normalized into this policy.
