South Korean ordinary passports: South Sudan electronic visitor visa

Current Republic of Korea Foreign Ministry South Sudan guidance says ordinary passport holders are not visa-free, visa-on-arrival issuance has stopped, and online visa issuance is available. The South Sudan Interior eVisa service delivers the visa PDF before travel.

    • Applies to an ordinary Republic of Korea passport holder visiting South Sudan; it does not establish treatment for South Sudanese nationals, dual nationals, diplomatic, official, service, emergency or other travel documents.
    • The Republic of Korea source reports that visa-free entry for ordinary passports is unavailable and visa-on-arrival issuance has stopped; it identifies online visa issuance as the available route.
    • Apply through South Sudan's official eVisa service, create an account, submit the visa application and pay online. After approval, download the eVisa PDF before travel; admission and other entry conditions remain for South Sudan authorities.
